Ik volg Rowan van Hana Honua al een tijd op social media. Met haar rauwe, aardse, oprechte zelfexpressie, kunst en ambachtsschap is ze een grote inspiratiebron voor mij. Hierdoor ontstond de wens om met haar samen te creëren. Deze unieke collectie co-creatieve sieraden met Rowan's houtwerk en mijn macramé is het resultaat van deze samenwerking. De zusters van deze sieraden vind je in Hana Honua's webwinkel.
Deze krachtige ketting weeft zich om een door Rowan gemaakte mandala, met de hand gegraveerd op madrone hout en afgewerkt met een beschermende organische lak. Het macraméwerk is roestbruin, met details van glazen miyuki kralen, hergebruikte houten kralen en twee door Rowan gemaakte madrone houten kralen. Ze heeft een verstelbaar koord waardoor je haar eenvoudig om en af kan doen en haar op de door jou gewenste lengte kan dragen.
Lioness is een unieke, krachtige talisman, die de leeuwin, de krijgeres in jezelf aanspreekt die de wereld tegemoet treedt met doelgerichtheid, kracht, moed en eigen waarde. Haar bijzondere zuster, 'Fairy Queen', vind je in HanaHonua 's shop.
Forest Harmony - mandala oorbellen
Deze mandala's zijn door Rowan met de hand gegraveerd op madronehout, behandeld met een beschermende organische lak en door mij omlijst met donkerbruin macraméwerk en bronzen miyukikralen. De houten kraal aan de top is van Tulsi (holy basil) en ook door Rowan handgemaakt. Ze komen naar je toe met een siliconen stoppertje, zodat je ze niet gauw verliest!
Deze oorbellen vonden hun inspiratie in een geurige boswandeling na een regenbui. Een zintuigelijke natuurbeleving, omgevormd tot kunst en sieraad. Vandaar de naam 'Forest Harmony'.
Deze speelse, unieke set bestaat uit een ketting en één paar oorbellen. De ketting, met een door Rowan gemaakte sequoia drop, vond haar in inspiratie in de blauwe zeeën van Denemarken. Ze is afgewerkt met houten kralen, turqoise mat glanzende miyuki kralen en zilveren details. Ze heeft een verstelbaar koord, waarmee je haar op verschillende lengtes kan dragen. De oorbellen zijn in dezelfde kleur geknoopt, met turqoise mat glansende miyukikralen en zilveren details. De haakjes zijn van nikkelvrij rvs en de oorbellen komen met een stoppertje, zodat je ze niet gauw verliest!
Encantment - ketting
Deze ketting weeft zich rond een door Rowan handgemaakte hanger van buckeye burl wood en turqoise micapoeder. Ze is afgewerkt met turqoise miyukikralen en zilveren details. Een betoverende ketting met een verstelbaar koord, zodat je haar op de door jou gewenste lengte kan dragen. Echantment is een ketting met een vleugje magie. Mysterieus en betoverend.

I've been following Rowan from Hana Honua for a while now on social media. With her raw, earthly and honest expressions, art and craftmanship she is a great source of inspiration to me. This fuelled my desire to create something beautiful together. This unique collection of co-creatieve jewelry is the result of our collaboration. Lioness - mandala necklace
This powerful necklace weaves around a mandala, hand engraved in ethically sourced madrone wood by Rowan. This centerpiece is finished with an organic protective layer. The macramé is made with rust brown wax thread, adorned with glass miyuki beads, reused wooden beads and two big madrone wooden beads, that are also made by Rowan. 'Lioness' comes with an adjustable string so you can easily take her on and of and you can wear her to your desired length.
This one of a kind necklace is a powerful amulet, calling uppon your inner lioness, your inner warrior who faces the world with purpose, courage, strength and selfworth. Her sibling, 'Fairy Queen', is available in HanaHonua 's shop.
Forest Harmony - mandala earrings
These cute little mandala's are engraved by hand on madrone wood by Rowan and finished with an organic protective layer. They are framed by me with dark brown macramé and bronze miyuki beads. The wooden beads on top are also handmade by Rowan from Holy Basil. They come to you with a silicone stopper to keep you from losing them!
The inspiration for these earrings I found in a fragrant walk through the woods after rain. A sensory experience of nature, translated to art and jewel you find in this earrings, which let to their name: 'Forest Harmony'.
Waves - necklace & earrings set
This unique and playful set contains a necklace and a pair of earrings. The necklace has a sequoia drop centerpiece, made by Rowan. The macramé work was inspired by the blue seas of Denmark. She is adorned with wooden beads, turqoise matt shining miyuki beads and finished of with silver details. She has an adjustable string so you can wear her on different lengths. The earrings are knotted in the same color, adorned with matt shining turqoise miyuki beads and silver details as well. The hooks are made from nickel-free stainless steel and will come with a silicone stopper to keep you from losing them!
Enchantment - necklace
This necklace weaves around a turqoise micapowder and buckeye burl wooden pendant that was handmade by Rowan and is adorned with turqoise picasso miyuki beads and silverwork. She has an adjustable cord, so you can wear her to your desired length on your chest. She's a mesmerizing necklace, ready to work her spells for you. Do you feel the call for mystery and enchantment?
